About this speaker
Hendrik Maschke is a research associate at Fraunhofer IEE. In 2020, he finished his master degree (MSc.) in Business Administration and Engineering: Electrical Power Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. He is currently working on various projects to integrate different prosumers such as photovoltaic systems, heat pumps or charging stations for electric vehicles into the distribution grid. Using the open source tool pandapower, different grid planning and operation approaches are investigated to analyze the impact of a future rollout of these prosumers on economics, such as grid reinforcement costs.
