EURAC has been promoting for years the removal of barriers between stakeholders involved in the life of photovoltaic projects. EURAC defines it as "breaking silos" and derives from a constant dialogue with stakeholders such as: manufacturers of modules and components in the PV sector, public and private investors, designers, installers, asset managers, O&M operators, insurers, research centres, universities, service providers, etc. It is thanks to this dialogue that EURAC has started to promote the creation of "stakeholder friendly components and services" in projects (for example in TRUST-PV and SYMBIOSYST). These products and services derive from a simple question: what can an actor operating in a previous stage do to simplify my daily work?
